Morocco-Spain Relations: Shared Desire to Move Forward

The opening of a consulate representing the six countries of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) in Dakhla confirms the growing support for the Sahara’s Moroccanness, and reflects the strong relations between Morocco and this regional grouping.

 

The remarks were made at a joint news conference in Dakhla by the Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Roosevelt Skerrit, and Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita, following the inauguration Thursday in Dakhla of a consulate general of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS).

 

Child recruitment in Tindouf encourages terrorism, instability, radicalization in North Africa and in Sahel

The polisario-forced and Algeria-backed recruitment of children in the camps of Tindouf fuels instability in North Africa and the Sahel, said, on Thursday in Dakhla, the minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Bourita.

Speaking at a conference organized by the International Research Center on the Prevention of Child Soldiers, Bourita stressed the correlation between the lack of proper management of the Tindouf camps and the recruitment of child soldiers.
